EAF Venue Magazines / How it works
One venue.

We turn a venue’s brand and information into a magazine couples can keep. Relevant businesses become part of the decisions inside it.

Explore venue participationThe idea behind EAF
The venue opens the door.
The magazine keeps
the conversation going.
A useful resource can stay relevant after the tour, the venue decision, and the wedding.
Distribution is part of the partnership
Give it a place
in the conversation.
The venue is the introduction. Useful content gives the couple a reason to return, share it, and discover the businesses inside.
Before the tour
Send the digital edition with inquiries and tour confirmations. Add it to your website and relevant QR materials.
Explore. Arrive informed.During the tour
Use it to explain the spaces and answer questions. When print is available, hand couples their own copy.
See it. Keep it.After the tour
Include it in follow-ups, booked-couple communication and relevant social sharing. Keep the same link easy to find.
Revisit. Compare. Plan. The venue decision is one moment
A guide for
the day ahead.
Logistics, venue information and vendor discovery can support their planning.
A resource they
may still keep.
Planning questions, ideas and useful local services can remain relevant.
A couple can carry the magazine into their planning year and beyond. Retention and sharing vary; they are not guaranteed.

Dining, experiences

Build a life
Home, finances,
wellness and local life.
A whole life surrounds it.
Understand the reader
The wedding is a day.
The decisions take longer.
Design for a life stage, then choose the right venue context. Age, budget, interests and service needs vary between venues and couples.
National context: The Knot 2026 Real Weddings Study, reporting on 2025 weddings. Survey of 10,474 U.S. couples. These figures are not measured EAF readership, circulation or retention. Read the study.
Ask about the venue’s distribution plan. Estimates are not guaranteed copies, readers, inquiries or bookings.
For businesses
A relevant introduction.
A reason to act.
Choose venue magazines that fit your service area, audience and goals. Make your offer useful to the couple’s next decision.
Wedding professionals
Be there when
they build their team.
Photography, video, planning, catering, florals, music, beauty, rentals, attire, transport and more.
A planner shows the value of a calmer wedding day and links to a consultation.
Confirm venue requirements. A paid ad does not create preferred-vendor status or override venue policies.
Local + life-stage businesses
Be useful for the
life around the wedding.
Restaurants, lodging, travel, home services, real estate, finance, insurance, wellness and experiences.
A restaurant connects its private dining offer to welcome dinners, celebrations and date nights.
Relevance matters. Marriage does not automatically create a need for every service or product.
What comes back to your business
Chosen venue context
A place beside the venue and planning content your audience is using.
Print + digital presence
Approved digital participation, with print governed by production requirements and credits.
A trackable next step
Your contact path, landing page, QR destination or offer. Track qualified inquiries and bookings.
Publishing + payment
Clear commitments.
A publication that evolves.
Digital can launch first. Quarterly print follows advertiser support, production-ready content and approvals.
$0 participation
Approved advertising supports the standard publication. The venue supplies content, feedback and distribution.
12 months
Monthly, quarterly or annual payment choices fund an annual placement commitment. Review the approved order and agreement.
4 print credits
Included with an initial annual purchase and annual renewal. Each ad placement has its own balance.
Fit + availability
Wedding categories generally allow up to three paid advertisers. Local categories, premium positions and galleries are also reviewed; exclusivity is not automatic.
Explore a simple example
Credits follow
printed editions.
Choose which cycles print. A digital-only quarter leaves its print credit unused.
Illustrative example, not your account balance. Credit treatment, renewal and the annual commitment follow your agreement.
Prepare
Keep profile information and creative current.
Submit
Plan updates and ads at least 30 days before the intended cycle.
Approve
Finish reviews, materials and required advertiser support.
Publish
January, April, July and October planning cycles, subject to readiness.
Specific deadlines come from your order and production communications. Print quantities and delivery dates vary. Digital-only quarters do not deduct print credits; photographer galleries do not count toward the paid-ad-page production minimum.
The practical details
Who owns the facts and creative permissions?
You supply accurate information and assets you have permission to publish. Review names, packages, prices, awards, claims, contact paths, image permissions and offer terms. EAF designs and produces the publication; scanning or AI drafting does not replace approval.
What starts physical printing?
The paid-advertising production minimum, usable materials and required approvals must be complete. Photographer galleries do not count toward the paid-ad-page minimum. Print quantities and timing are planned for the venue; a calendar cycle is not a guaranteed delivery date.
What happens when information or creative changes?
Keep your portal current, send corrections and submit new material before the relevant cycle. Changes require review and publication work. Updating a field does not instantly replace published editions or printed copies; ask EAF about urgent digital corrections.
What is included in the paid order?
Confirm the exact venue, ad size, plan, price, discounts, creative services, placement status and publication inclusions before paying. Extra design work may have a separate fee. Directory visibility or additional promotion is not an automatic promise.
How do renewals, cancellation and unused credits work?
Your current agreement and approved order govern notice, renewal, cancellation, payment obligations, refunds and credit handling. A digital-only quarter does not use a print credit, but a remaining balance does not automatically change the annual commitment or reserve another venue.
Are preferred status, referrals or results automatic?
No. Paid placement does not create preferred-vendor status or category exclusivity. The venue program currently describes a 20% commission on advertisers directly referred into that venue’s magazine; confirm attribution and payment terms with EAF. Leads, bookings, readership and revenue are not guaranteed.
Useful beyond the booking
Their venue choice
isn’t their last decision.
Venue stories, planning questions, local experiences and relevant services give the magazine a life beyond a single sales conversation.
That is the opportunity: a publication people may want to keep, and businesses with something useful to contribute.
